Then you need to change. Everything you’re not changing, you’re choosing (at the very least, you choose to react in a certain way). It’s entirely up to you to create that change, to not react and to choose something new. Change is hard? Yes, it is, but the reward is bigger than you can possibly imagine. It doesn’t matter what you want to change in your life, it all comes with the right mindset and a little bit of preparation. Wherever you’re at, with those 4 tips you can do it.

How to change your life

  • Claim back your power with taking on responsibility for your actions and reactions. Stop blaming others and ask yourself every time: what is my part in this? How am I contributing to this conflict / situation? You can’t change others and some situations around you, but you can change your reaction to it. 
  • Leave your comfort zone. You won’t be changing in your little bubble. Get yourself out there because according to what Jimi Hendrix said: “Life will only change when you become more committed to your dreams than you are to your comfort zone” is precisely what you should be focusing on with this ones.
  • Establish a meditation routine. First 5, then 10, then 15 minutes. Every morning, you get your head straight and focus on what you want to achieve. Stop thinking about the change you intend to happen and start feeling it. How will it feel once you’ve achieved your goal? Start creating the reality in your meditations and program your subconscious. Work with your emotions, feel it, don’t analyze it with your mind. Believe it. 
  • Figure out the “why” and stick to it. Nothing is as motivating as a space where you don’t want to go back to. Pin it on the wall. Set a reminder in your phone. 
  • Balance your nutrition. Take care of your body. Detox, get it strong and healthy. Create the right hardware for the software to run smoothly. Cut sugars, alcohol and cigarettes for a week and set a strong intention. Your body will reward you with clarity, focus and strength to master the challenge.
